All makes and models of golf equipment can be preloaded into the program software, so all you have to do is select a demo golf club, type in the member number and ‘check-it-out’. Your golf club will become greener… as your rid the old paper and pen method of trying to write down who has what club.
Product Description
Demo Inventory is an electronic rental system between an inventory database and a membership. The purpose of the system is to better control your inventory, by always knowing where every item is at all times. The system works similar to how a movie store rents you a movie, however, there is no payment at transaction and the system is specifically for golf clubs.
Inventory:
Your inventory can be added directly into the system 1 by 1, or easily uploaded through an excel spreadsheet. You can assign your items a numeric or alphabetic code. If your club uses barcode scanners, you can easily use the barcode numbers for your item code. Using barcodes can speed up transactions, and take away the chance for human input error. Membership:
Your Membership database can be entered 1 by 1, or easily uploaded through an excel spreadsheet. Once, uploaded you are ready to control your inventory.
Action mode:
This is the section where you will perform check out transactions. Simply scan your demo club, enter the membership number of the member and push enter. Its that simple, now the system has checked out a club to one of your members. If you decide not to barcode, you can easily type in 001 then push enter, enter the membership number then push enter again. Both methods are quick and easy, however barcoding eliminates human error, and slightly speeds up the transaction. Just the act of scanning a club, then handing it to a member helps to ensure the return of the club, as they know it has been checked out to them.
Reports:
In this section you will be able to see where your checked out inventory items are. Easily print out the list, give it to the backshop staff and they can pull out clubs by bag number that were not returned. Demo Inventory can create any report you can think of, but is waiting on you to voice your opinion of what reports you want to see.
